The Baby Bjorn is, in my opinion, one of the greatest inventions out there in baby world. I think Josh would agree with me (see image below). We have found that carrying Taylor in our arms isn’t always feasible – we do need to get things done. The Bjorn has been a lifesaver many times. Not only can I wear him around during the day when he doesn’t want to be put down, it also helps quiet him when he’s fussing. I usually keep one of his arms tucked in with him so he can suck on his hand/thumb which helps to quiet him down.

I went grocery shopping yesterday and carried Taylor in the Bjorn. He ended up falling asleep before I was done with all the produce. It was much easier than hauling him in his car carrier. I find that his carrier doesn’t sit very securely on the carts and end up putting the carrier in the cart which really limits the amount of groceries that will fit. So yesterday I decided to try the Bjorn and it was wonderful.

I do also like carrying him because he keeps me warm. He is one little hot potato!

—————–

And on a side note, I was up at 2am driving around town with Taylor trying to get him to sleep. He wasn’t crying or upset, just WIDE awake and his Mommy really needed some shut-eye. It took about 30 minutes but finally worked. He slept the rest of the night in his carrier because I was afraid that if I tried to take him out he’d wake up again.
