He smiled a few more times that day – at our neighbor, at his mobile but not at me. I kept teasing him and tickling him so that I could get my first smile. When it finally came later in the day I was overjoyed. It just melted my heart.

Now I’ve spent the past couple of days trying to capture it on camera. That has been a little challenging because he always seems to do it when I turn the camera off. But I’ve finally succeeded. Here is a short video of one of his wonderful smiles.

I also captured a great series of photos using Josh’s Nikon. My camera doesnt shoot fast enough to capture the different phases of a smile.
